Itinerary description
Trail through the Montuoso Forest Reserve passing the petroglyphs 'Caras Pintadas' and on to the antennas for a nice view. The trail is steep and rocky in parts and would be very muddy in the rainy season. It's a short hike to the petroglyphs and then the trail takes you through nice premontane forest. Unfortunately the view from the antennas is not so good as it is very overgrown and with lots of trash. There are lots of different trails, we stuck to what appeared to be the most used. Leave your vehicle at the road or drive down to the gate.
