I have followed this trail  View more

The trail presents wonderful seaside views and panoramas which, for Malta, are relatively unchanged. This is because urbanization and 'development' have destroyed much of the natural landscape on the island. Along the trail you have the chance to visit the Hagar Qim and Mnajdra temples, which are among Malta's best gems. You can also charter a boat to visit the Blue Lagoon, a cave which if you go in the morning, due to light refraction, it lights up in vivid blue. A highly suggested walk, very easy along a pavement. Best way is to start from the temples and then you take the downhill walk.

If walking in summer during daytime, take loads of water with you as the temperature in Malta can be very high!
