Hiking to the crater of the Rinjani volcano on the island of Lombok in Indonesia.
Departure of senaru + 600m for the crater + 2642m.
Night on the crater after 8 hours of trek (breaks included). Descent the next day.
Ascent continues, more and more arduous as the goal gets closer.
Simply magical landscape, sunset well beyond the photo rendering.
