Itinerary description
This site is an ancient city Seleucia Pieria's site. In those times they were using this city as a port of the Antioch because river Orontes was able to hold ships. With this journey, you will bypass money seekers. If you want to pay for it, you can just turn left before the entrance of the Titus tunnel. This tunnel was startet from Emperor Vespansianus times and finished in his son Titus's time. After you just leave the tunnel, look your left for the see Roman İnscription. At least you will be able to read Vespasianus and Titus's names. Leave there and path will end. From there either you could walk into the riverbed or from left of it. But in winter be carefull about floods and in summer times be carefull about snakes and venomus creatures. As you see I've added a Landscape for a rock wich carved 'ROD' ıt interested me I'm sure you will too. This path from exit of the tunnel untill the town center your journey could be harsh be prepared dor that. When you reach village, you can see a mosque which converted from Armenian chuch. From this point you can check villagers walls for antique stones. This towns peoples are very hospitable you can fell that. Follow the road of the village to the Dor Temple. When you reach it you will see that temple is just ruins. But you can use your imagination and it's view is great. From this point either you can follow the road like I did (Which I really don't recomment it) or you can follow the road untill end of the road.
