Itinerary description
Nice trail with varied views and paths.
Departure at Selada de Alto Mira a bit above Cirio, arriving from Porto Novo with collective aluguer. Very good path up the cliff with magnifique views on the SE coasts, with clear sights of Sao Vicente and also from the top of Sao Nicolau emerging from the clouds.
Continuing on a good dirt path to Feijoal and then on sometimes hard to distinguish path accross fields until a nice dirt road that takes us to the cliff. We had to walk back a few mn one or twice to find the way.
Then down and up the valley on a good cliff path, not too steep, finally reaching the green Martiene valley.
The hikes finishes down Martiene where we arranged transportation to nearby Ribeira da Cruz.
All paths were in good and quite good states. Hike done in February with dry not too hot weather.
