Itinerary description
This is a moderate to difficult hike that starts off with a big uphill section. There are some form of stairs to take you up.
I went right into a valley following a dry river. To get to the secret garden youll need to go uphill again to the left on very rocky not so clear path. You'll then come to a big mars like open area where you can walk straight through to the Secret Garden. On the way back I took a slightly different path hoping it would be less steep but it was basically the same.
Once you are back in the river bed you walk back the same way you came. When you hit the point where you turned to towards the Secret Garden carry on straight. You'll see Mt Catherine in front of you and just walk towards it for as long as you like to the base.
The way back I'd probably recommend going the same way as you come as there is a few waterfalls that were a bit difficult to navigate my way down. If you follow my route you will pass the Awda Garden and then you join back up to the original path and head back down into town.
Both Gardens were not open but they had lovely trees with beautiful flowers that you can see above the fence.
No guide needed for this one.
