Itinerary description

Borrow pond from building adjacent Hwy 90 overpass. Pond named after a Scoter duck that used to live here. Scoters are stocky sea ducks in the genus Melanitta.

Not a hike, just went to another area in the refuge.

Today I learned there's such a thing as sea duck.
