Itinerary description
From the hotel go to Gibel and turn right. Follow the path.
After seeing the Eisee on your right, go down and then straight up in front to the Brienzer Rothorn.
From there, follow for Lättgässli (very steep descent but secured with ropes and stairs) and Chrutenenpass.
At Chrutenenpass, the signs along the crest stop, so descend towards Planalp.
Just before Planalp, instead of crossing the river, stay on the right side of the river and go up a bit. After some houses you reach a forest through which you will eventually descent steeply and for a very long time. Not always easy.
When reaching Brienz, follow signs for the station.
