Itinerary description
This very easy track starts at a parking place close to Thalkirchen. From Thalkirchen you will walk over Holzberg to Hocheck. From here you will enter the impressive forest of the Antworterberg. After about 4km you will leave the forest and enter the valley of the Westenbach. Just before reaching Rimsting you will pass over the Ludwigshohe where you can enjoy the impressive view over Rimsting and the Chiemsee. The center of Rimsting consists of houses with the typical paintings. A while after leaving Rimsting you will walk over the Naturweg where you will find a lot of information about the local flora and fauna as well as the geological formation of the area. From here you will reach the Ratzingerhohe. Also here there are splendid views. From here you will return to Thalkirchen through an area of mainly meadows. The last past of the track is along the Thalkirchner Achen.
