Itinerary description
Variating hike up to the beautiful mountain lake Font Vive which is a great swimming lake aswell as it is not too cold. Descending along the wild river Le Carol which forms many bassins and waterfalls with cristal clear ice cold water. The trail passes through woodlands and meadows, crossed by many little creeks, so the sound of water acompanies the entire descent. On a few spots the hiker is required some moderate climbing skills. For an easier descent there is a parallel route a bit further away from the river that is more moderate.
At the entrance of the valley at the lower lake (lac du passet) there is a sipline (Tyro Vol) where you can “fly” over the lake.
