Itinerary description
This is a nice, short trail in Saxapahaw, probably best for dog walking or an evening stroll. Trail is blazed orange once you enter the forest.
If you follow my route by crossing the creek rather than looping back, you will go approximately 1 mile.
Following the orange blazes back to the trailhead rather than crossing the creek will lengthen the route by a quarter mile or so (I didn't actually follow the trail that far and am only assuming that is where the trail goes--it appeared to head that direction). You could also continue around the perimeter of the farm to add another mile.
