Itinerary description
I handplotted the route because I just recently found wikiloc and the app :)
We were out for almost 11 hours on the trail, with 2 big breaks - at Black lake we took about an hour and at the Double lake almost 45 minutes. The scenery is just too beautiful not to sit around and enjoy it!
The first 1.5km-2km from Savica hut to the Black lake was really difficult. It's a narrow and steep trail as it goes up at the cliff side. The rest of it is easy to moderate.
The trail is well marked, just be careful if you go down to the Black lake. There's a path along the north shore that sort of takes you in the direction of the Double lake, but at one point it takes a turn towards Dom na Komni. The real trail from the Black lake to the Double lake is also on the north side of the Black lake, but higher above, goes through the forest.
We took the same trail back down, so the length is actually double what my handplotting says.
