Itinerary description
The shortest trail option of the annual hiking event in Ristijärvi; Saukonselkä vaellus. Marked as 7km, wikiloc shows a bit more (9,5km). Starts at the double lean-tos on top of the hill Saukkovaara. Trail marked with blue signs on varying surfaves from a small forest paths to big gravel road. Turning point at leanto where possibility to have a snack by the campfire. If wanted, easy to continue the route all the way to Tuulentupa wilderness hut by following signs there.
