Itinerary description
Sattu Bangla also known as Sattuan bangla (in English "The Seventh Banglow"), is colonial Era forest officer's residence.
Roughly a century old, Sattu Bangla is still in very much good condition and in still used by Forest Department for it's officer's residence.
Wooden floor and roof makes sure that you are well protected from the weather. A drawback , however is, the lack of water nearby it.
There is a watchman and his family who maintain the Bangla.
There are several treks which lead to Sattu bangla.
On my way to it, I got lost and reach there late in the day. Watchman let me stay there, however later forest officers arrived and welcomes me in the bangla and I got the opportunity to enjoy the stay at bangla.
Next day they suggest to descent towards Riyala.
Suggestion was very fruitful as it was a very short trek and in 90 minutes or so, I reached the village of Riyala from where I took Suzuki to Qalandarabad, and then to Abbottabad.
This trek, however was very steep and at no where it offered relief so if you are going up, towards Sattu via this trek, be prepared to be tired and exhausted.
There is no water available for the most of the trek.

Thanks for sharing! Are there any water sources near the Bangla?
Nope. I did not find any. There was a hut of watchman. He provided me the water. But this trek was in a dry weather.
