Itinerary description

This is a great hike which takes you from the inland town of São Domingos to the coastal town of Pedra Badejo. It passes through different terrain, different landscapes, across fields in São Domingos, a steep ascent to get to the start of Ribeira Cumba, which is a green valley with irrigated fields including mango trees, papayas. The last section of the hike includes a beautiful hike through the coast of Pedra Badejo, starting in Achada Ponta. You will finish the hike right after Penedo, a rock formation which is one of the seven wonders of the municipality of Santa Cruz.
