Itinerary description
Nixe down-hill hike (tougher up-hill the other way round) with nice landscapes, some rivers to cross which might be tricky in rainy-season.
Pleasant over-all if you stay at this hotel and have enough energy after/before the visit of the Santa Maria area of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park.
Also great if started at Las Pailas Ranger Station after a crowd less hike through the National Park.
First picture indicates detour to avoid the first (broken) bridge to cross the river over the rocks (second picture) and join the trail again (3rd picture).
4th picture: one of the “quebradas to cross.
5th picture: once you get to the gravel road, turn right
6th picture: after about 300m, leave the road to the trail on the left. From there always keep straight…
