Itinerary description
We started on the road from Sannine to Tarchich. The track is very easy to follow. The objective was to reach the point called "Mtayou7en". At this point, in the 19th century, there was an ottoman checkpoint. Lebanese traders used to use these walking trails to transport wheat and other products between the Bekaa valley and mount Lebanon.
We started directly from where we parked and went in the mountain without following a track. We knew that around 100 meters later, we will reach a dirt road. We followed this dirt road for around 2/2.5kM. At the waypoint "go right", we left the dirt road and went on a trail. The trail starts here and then continue on the edge of the mountain having all the time the Bekaa valley on our right. This part is around 5 km and then we reached the point Mtayou7en. As stated earlier, it is a crossing point ( from this point, you can go to Ferzol, Niha, Ka3 el rim, Sannine Summit (french room), or tarchich road (from where we were coming)).
We took our first break there.
After the pause, we continued on an ascending dirt road on the left. We followed it till the point crossings where we had our second break.
At this point, if you go right, you reach Sannine summit (french room). If you continue straight, you reach the Sannine ridge (there is a dirt road only for a few meters, after that it is a trail which is actually not very clear). We went on the left to go back to the road "Sannine-Tarchich".
The last part is the same as the starting part. But a certain point, we went on the right of the dirt road to take a shortcut.

Starting point
We parked next to the army checkpoint on the road from Sannine to Tarchich. Worth to note that this road after almost 2 km from Sannine source is very bad. It is almost a 4x4 car. You have to make sure that your car can make it.
