- The circular trail begins at the parking lot at the end of Sandymount Rd. After a short detour through The Chasm, continue to Lovers Leap. The Sandymount Ridge Trail offers spectacular views of the shoreline and cliff tops of the Otago Peninsula.
- Another marked route provides alternative access to Sandfl and Bay.
- Closed for lambing from 1 September to 15 October
