Itinerary description
Superb days walk through a strange landscape of oak pine forest. The majority of the trail is parallel to the river but with constant ups and downs. The final 2km, immediately after the second river crossing, marks the steep ascent into Latuvi and is the sting in the tail.
The route is mostly along good paths though it’s easy to take a wrong turn (as I did on a couple of occasions) as the markings are intermittent. Look out for mountain bikers coming from the opposite direction.
