Itinerary description
Start behind San Juan Capistrano where the linea 1 bus route
turns round. Take the path eventually going up to the top of the hill following red ploges of paint, ignoring a cairned route on your right early on.
At the top go slightly to your right and head down. Do not turn right at the top and head up.
Follow the down path through beautiful narrow gorges using the cairn markers down to the Rio Chillar. Turn left along the Rio passing the quarry and climbing the road back under the motorway and back to your start point.

Wonderful hike. Steep up and down for the first few kilometres. Scenic views. Lots of shaded sections.
