Itinerary description
This hike starts in the main plaza of San Cristobal and follows a paved uphill trail to the Acuarela water station. From there you follow beautiful trails (some very steep along a barbed wire fence) to Piedra Galán. Continuing on the trails are very brushy and overgrown (but passable) and will lead you to a paved road that brings you downhill into Belen Aguas Frías. You can get a bus to the UdM or taxi into the city before or after this trail ends.
