Itinerary description
First day of 14 mile hike from Sams gap to Spivey gap on the AT. Had some weirdness with Wikiloc and so had to reset the recording at Street gap. That is why the trace looks like aliens dropped us off in the middle of nowhere! Beautiful day of about 75 degrees. Crossed two beautiful balds. A pop up thunder storm chased us off of big bald. If you hike here, especially on summer afternoons, keep a close eye on the weather. Lightning is no joke...
