Itinerary description

Samaria Gorge.
Beautiful Gorge with well marked path.Water and place to rest every approximately 2km(see photo for exact locations) and couple of WC along the path.
The path is downhill, minor short uphills. The difficult part of this path is the rocky terrain, you have to be careful/ slow not to sprained an angle or fall. Also you have to have good knees for the long downhill uneven terrain. That's being said there horses and staff along the path, where if you get injured they can help you/ take you to safety.

To go to trail, from Chania, you get the morning bus to Xyloskalo, you buy ticket at the start of the trail(5 €). At the end of the trail at Agia Roumeli you can swim. You have two options for the way back, either take the boat to Sougia where you can take the bus to Omalos-Chania.
The other way is to take the boat to Sfakia and take the bus to Chania(fastest more relaxing route)
