Itinerary description
We travelled the Samaria gorge, a natural protected area. It all is downhill, so it remains moderate in terms of effort. It is quite long and pebblish. Affordable for all ages. Get stared early to avoid heat by midday, although narrowness of the gore will shade direct exposure to sun.
You will end up at the back entry of the park, where you meet trekkers going opposite direction. You can either walk 2km additional to the pier for boarding the ferry on jump on a bus for 3 EUR.
