This is a good introduction to hiking in this area, as the track is easy to follow with many cairns to follow. The upper section just below Sheri village is steep but the path has been well improved with steps, many made with concrete. The upper section from Sheri to Samarat is a bit of a slog, and the old water catches being used as paths can get filled up with large rocks. Note the GPS connection in the Wadi in the first 2km was poor, so there was allot of drift, don't try to follow the track, or you'll be scaling the Wadi sides. The km distance is about a 2km overestimate as a consequence.
