Itinerary description
Samar trail in the lower Jebel Ali trails section. This is pretty nice because you get a view of both the mountains around you as well as below you! We went on the 1st October so still pretty hot but it was manageable. Train is well marked, gradual and clear so trainers or even walking sandals would be fine. Ended up at a ‘flag’ at the highest point of the trail but it had disintegrated somehow.
Watch out coming down the trail seems to go off round the mountain but this isn’t the way back to the car parking area. Make sure to follow the trail on Wikiloc somewhere - unfortunately my watch died so this isn’t the whole way back to the car.
