Itinerary description

This hike begins at the Saltzman Parking Area off of NW Skyline Blvd. After initially descending Firelane 5, you should fork left on to Wildwood, ascend the Trillium Trail, and follow the Hardesty trail to Leif Erikson. If you want to walk to Burgerville, it is a 2.5-mile detour roundtrip (this is separate from the GPX file). This can be done by turning left onto the Ridge Trail from Leif Erikson and crossing the St. Johns Bridge. Otherwise, you can just follow Leif Erikson, turn right on Firelane 5, and return to the trailhead.

Without the detour, this hike is purely on trails in Forest Park and there are no facilities available with the exception of the porta-potty at the trailhead.
