Itinerary description
This is an easy trail in Death Valley along a board walk. You follow Salt Creek which most of the time is no more than a few inches deep. What makes this place special is the blue Salt Creek Pup Fish. These fish live no where else in the world. It is fun to watch them, its almost like they are playing, carelessly unaware of the people watching them. There are interpretive signs along the way describing the Salt Creek Pup Fish. Please stay on the boardwalk and help protect this unique environment in such an inhospitable place.
