Itinerary description
This walk takes you past plantation house proceeding down a Camino Nacional to the small village of Boquia, across the yellow bridge and then heading right adjacent to the Quindio river following it up stream to the Campgrounds of Finca Santa Rita where both waterfalls can be found. There's also a natural pool where you can have a swim so pack your swimming costume if the weather's good. The Finca charges 5000 COP for entry which comes with a cup of tinto, there is also a handy map available to take a photo of to assist you as you explore the grounds. We return to Boquia via the ecological trail in Finca Santa Rita, and then back up hill towards Salento the same way we came down.
The Camino Nacional is very muddy! We were able to rent wellington boots from Finca Don Eduardo for 10,000 COP each. If it's been raining for the past few days we strongly recommend you hire a pair or you will lose your shoes to the mud.

This is a beautiful hike. The trail could have more descriptions though. We got a different, harder route at some point but it was fun.
