Itinerary description

Located on an alluvial cone, Chamoson is overlooked by the Haut de Cry cliffs. Between the Rhône at an altitude of 480 meters and the Grand Muveran culminating at 3051 metres, the Commune of Chamoson is spread over 3500 ha of orchards, vineyards, mayens, mountain pastures and rocks.
A significant part of its history bears witness to the relentless struggles that its inhabitants have waged against and for water. Against the torrential water that ravages, for the channeled water that nourishes the earth and the vine.
It is this tremendous diversity and this thrilling history that we tell you along the "Du Cep à la Cime" trail while paying homage to nature and the men who have shaped this magnificent landscape.
