A nice relaxing hike done with my dear son who had a very good performance for a Challenging Trail.
We started this trail at Saint Charbel Statue in Faraya and headed toward the Mountain Heights passing through the 2 houses up there and reaching the High Cross Peak with Stunning views all around.
Then after some distance the descent goes through the valley, a tricky mixed terrain, with different goat and non paths, was discovering and maneuvering to find the way toward Chabrouh dam...be careful on this part of trail.
I consider this path through the valley more hard than the upper path that is a clear way through dirt road...leading to Chabrouh.
This trail consists of mostly muddy ground at this period of year, be prepared to stop many times to clean your shoes outersole as it becomes heavy...
At end of trail, an ascent of 2.5km distance to Saint Charbel is more challenging for youngsters.
Feel free to DM me for any questions..
