Itinerary description
A very very nice walk! We started early in the morning because of the heat (over 30 degrees expected) and there was enough shade most part of the route.
The first part was steep uphill. After that there ar not mutch steep klimbs anymore.
When you arrive on the road take the way up (right hand) where you soon pass two small tunnels (use your phone as a warning light for cars).
Almost at the end you find a (marked) path to the river where you can have a nice cold cooling down!
For the dog it was a nice walk. Even in this summerheat. But: go early! There is a lot of shade. Bring enough water.
Be aware of snakes! We walked into a large green one. And the last 1.8 km on asphalt: keep the dog on leash and let him walk in de shade where the asphalt is not so hot (or use special dog shoes).
