Itinerary description
From the last houses in the village the track ascends gradually through the olive groves. The initial dirt road later turns into a track which continues above the valley of the Eygues to the Col de la Bergerie, all the time giving you wonderful views, especially of Rocher de Bramard, with its remarkable friendly face and, if you have the eye for it, its long beard.
At the col the view of Montagne Angèle is the eye-catcher.
From the Col de la Bergerie the now shady track continues in the direction of Le Marcel through a forest of pines and oaks.
At Le Marcel you can decide whether to follow the yellow marked track directly to Sahune. This is the easy route.
We chose the red marked track to go to the top of the Devès via the ridge, where you have a beautiful panorama. The descent of the red route is quite steep and is full of loose stones, some tread certainty is a requirement here. Take the yellow route from Le Marcel if you are not sure, but then you will miss the beautiful panoramas.
Of course you could also follow the red marked track to the ridge and come back via the same track to Le Marcel. This is an easy track.
After the steep descent from Le Deves, the path leads to an orchard with olive trees. Via a residential area you then reach the road that brings you back to the parking lot.
