Itinerary description
D24. Northern Wicklow & Dublin Marilyns, Eire. Ben of Howth 171m (Dublin), Saggart Hill 395m (Dublin), Two Rock Mountain 536m (Dublin), Little Sugar Loaf 342m (Wicklow), Great Sugar Loaf 501m (Wicklow).
On many of the peak bagging/outdoor websites I perused for this trip I noted there were very few route descriptions regarding ascents of the lesser known Irish Marilyns. This also applied to the availability of gpx files. I will therefore add relevant information and files that hopefully will provide assistance to future hikers/peakbaggers.
A long day with a lot of driving hiking five Marilyns around the periphery of Dublin and Bray.

Saggart Hill is just West of the town of Brittas on a back road. It is a popular area with a variety of trails but this was just and up and down route. At the start point there is enough room at the junction/pull in for about 4/5 cars. The route is straight up the track and follow it around to the right and then the left before the fenced off areas of a number of masts. Nothing attractive on the unmarked indiscernible summit. I used the Peakbagger website marked summit as my marker but I note that Kamoot & Mountain Views indicate the summit is a little way to the NW. I will still add this as achieved. No views from the top or along the way and a very short walk.
Parking: Pull in at start point for 4/5 cars.
Route: Straight forward forest track to an unmarked summit with no views.
Statistics: 1.8km with 50m height gain done in 30mins.
Maps: Outdoor Active Irish Topo Maps.
