Route carried out in the middle of December 2022 after trying other routes but they were very muddy and dangerous due to the risk of falls due to slipping. The route starts in Sapa and heads towards an area of waterfalls called Cat Cat but it is a site set up for tourists, you have to pay an entrance fee of 90,000 VND but if you omit the whole issue of tourist shops it is worth it. We then left the site set up for tourists and we followed a road and that is when you begin to enjoy the rice fields and the lushness of the jungle, the truth is that the route was worth following but it was starting to get late. and with light rain we didn't want it to get dark around there, but it's worth it to be able to do it earlier and extend it a little longer going down the valley to reach new villages. It is a pity that people are spoiled by mass tourism, they continue to build many hotels and sooner or later the essence of these lands will disappear. The climb at the end has complicated areas because it is made of clayey mud and you have to be careful but it can be done. Better to do it going up than going down, the first time we tried to do the route in the opposite direction and luckily we changed the direction because we already had some falls.
