The track is one way only.
The Rysy is in the Tatras Mountains, they form a mountain range between the border of Poland and Slovakia and is the highest sector of the Carpathians.
I leave the parking area, where there is a barrier that prevents vehicles from entering the park, to pass you have to pay a few euros. I start walking towards Lake Morskie Oko, it is about 8 km. mostly by road and some stretches of path.
The lake is very beautiful, with the Rysy at the top looking out, the lake area is very touristy, there are bars and some street stalls to drink and eat.
We go down to the lake and take the path that borders it on the left, until we reach the other end of the lake where we turn left and begin to climb to the second lake called Czarny Staw, we skirt it too, we continue climbing now it is steeper, but The view of the valley, the mountains that surround us and the 2 lakes are magnificent, truly beautiful.
We reach the most complicated section of the ascent, there are hundreds of meters of chain to reach the Roof of Poland by this route, if you need them they will help you progress in the verticality of some sections, this section is demanding, but it is not difficult at the level technical.
At the top of Rysy 2,499 m. The views are impressive of the Tatra Mountains, on the one hand Poland and on the other Slovakia, privileged views of the Morskie Oko lakes, Czarny Staw and the mountains of the Slovak part, wonderful cloudy and sunny day that I had on the ascent.
I take an apple and some nuts, I enjoy the views of so many wonders of Nature and I begin to go down from the same place, I go alone, I am very far from Spain and I take all possible awareness and caution on the way down.
I pass the chains, arrive at the first lake, then at the Morskie Oko bar and stop to celebrate the summit of Rysy, with a good beer and food. There are only 8 km left, to the parking lot that I take down with a Ukrainian guy I met at the bar.
Data: 24.8 km. ---- 1,513 m. elevation gain ---- 11 hours and 26 minutes. Including breakfast and lunch stops.
The ascension route has no waste, large lakes, alpine terrain and magnificent views.
