Itinerary description
Known in 1976 as "The Gorge" Ryans Brook threads its way between 60m rock walls before emptying into Spaniard's Bay. The half km walk in can be dicey in places however a swimming hole beneath a beautiful waterfall makes it well worth the effort. My wife and I visited this secluded spot many times back in the day, so during a trip home forty years later we had to reminisce.
