Itinerary description
First part of the famous Weg der Schweiz. Standard time is 3hr 15 min. Probably the hardest portion of the walk. Begin and end points are connected with public transportation (by boat).

Easy to follow

I followed this as a gps route so it was obviously easy to follow. The route is also well signposted...so doubly easy to follow. We also took a short cut straight uphill from Rütli to Seelisberg village. This was the hardest part of the walk. To and from the hike - we caught a ferry from Brunnen to Rütli and then Bauen back to Brunnen 25 CHF each (may 2018)
Summary: Great steam boat trip in and out, great hike, stunning views.
