Section of the old Nakasendo route (Kyoto-Tokyo), from the EDO period.
From Osaka we take a train to Nakatsugawa and from there a bus to Magome.
In Nagiso, train to Matsumoto.
In general, people arrive in Tsumago and take a bus to Nagiso.
From Tsumago to Nagiso, there are 5 km, I recommend it, it is worth doing this section.
Very interesting route, passing through forests, rivers and small rural centers, in full contact with the interior. Monkey family view included. There are several super clean toilets along the route. At the end of the route, near Nagiso station you will see this fabulous train machine.
