One of the many routes that can be done in this area of the Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park.
It starts from the Mitsumine-guchi train station.
It is an ascent through a very thick forest composed mostly of Japanese cedar. It has stretches exposed, especially in the descent, although in the worst places there are fixed ropes and chains. In the climb you have to pay special attention in the part of above to not lose the way.
It is easy to find monkeys and it seems that there is also an abundance of bears in the area.
