Itinerary description
700 meters before you arrive to Refugio de Juanar, this trail starts at the right side of the road, well marked. The first hour, walk up first with views to your right and then through the ravine. When the path divides, turn left (you'll see a little red cross on your right indicating it's not that way). Through a foresty area, passing the well you'll soon get to an opening with views of the mountains on the other side. If you want you can take a 30 minute return detour to the right up to Los Cuchillos peak with spectacular views. If you want to turn back directly, take the left and continue down the trail for another 2 hours until you get to Refugio de Juanar. Pass it, and when you get to a junction on the paved road, keep walking left the last 700 meters to the trailhead.
