Itinerary description
Ruta de Caracol pequeña is a route shorter then the larger Ruta de Caracol. Because The start and end is at high altitude the walk is also higher up with great scenery. The route is not signalised with the yellow and white stripes. Beware of crossing routes.

Beautiful and dramatic without too much jeopardy for 2 fit pensioners. The trail is easy to follow with the exception of the eastern extremity where it is difficult to find the trail that leads round the mountain rather than the much more obvious one that leads steeply down. An excellent workout with lots of fabulous scenery, mountain goats, vultures and even an eagle.
