Itinerary description
This train takes you to a viewpoint, monastery and El Peno. You will walk trough farmland and have high views of the lake. The trail is mostly tarmac but the last 45 minutes is a dirt road. There is hardly any traffic and it’s a very solitary and quiet hike. It take about 3 hours (trip to the monastery is included in this). Take and food as no shops once you leave Guatape town.
