We take the Telegondola 1400 in Sinaia, you can take it below. It costs us about € 4 per trip. It leaves us at the Furnica peak. It is all quite bare of trees and there are numerous lifts for skiers in winter.

We begin to descend towards Piatra Arsa (km 2.7). We continue towards Pestera (km 8.3) along a road that is well signposted with elevated poles.

We have a problem with the dogs of a shepherd that start barking at us, they surround us and they almost bite us, without the pastor hurrying to come so that the dogs leave us.

In Pestera we wanted to go to see the Lalomitei Pestera Monastery (which is inside a cave) and then return to the Furnica Peak making a circular, but a storm started and we had to leave it (the deviation is at km 8.8). We decided to go to the Telecabina de Pestera, which was closed almost two hours until the storm was over, from Pestera to Babele cost us € 4, and from Babele to Busteni € 8. Then we had to go to Sinaia to get the car
