Itinerary description
This is the first day of our three day hike along the Ruby Crest Trail in Nevada. We begun the trail a little bit north of Harrison Pass. We paid to have Cowboy John a shuttle service located in nearby Elko to pick us up at Lamoile Canyon and drop us off at the trail head near Harrison Pass. The beginning of the hike took us along aspen groves and hillsides covered in flowers. We passed many small streams and some of the most alpine scenery in all of Nevada. We finished our day at Overland Lake and made camp.
