Itinerary description
Impressive ROZA GORGE is located on the western slopes of Mount Dikti between Gonies traditional village and famous Kera monastery. The canyon is a side branch of lush Ambelos gorge with stunning views on awesome geological formations, surreal walls and peaks, the area is spoilt with rich vegetation and flora biodiversity due to many little streams sprinkling down from Lassithi plateau. The heavy rains of the past winter have left their marks, but the path is still in good condition. The trail is very steep in the upper section, so you might prefer to plan this in uphill direction.

Up until the top the trail was well marked. From there until connecting to the road down was not marked at all.
