This route runs along the right bank of the Kemijoki River near Rovamiemi center. After the church, we will find the Kirkkolampi lake that is connected to the Kemijoki river for a short walk. We will circle it following a circular itinerary. The landscape is spectacular at this time of the year. Here, in the entire section that borders this lake, we will find the main botanical species in the area identified with the scientific name, common name and place of origin. The main ones are: trèmols (Populus tremola), willows (Salix sp), gillies (Sorbus aucuparia), boar cherry trees (Prunus padus), honeysuckle (Lonicera sp), lilies, water lilies ... We continue and we reach Lake Jarjulanki, which is also connected to the Kemijoki River for a small step. Here we will find a wooden tower that will allow us to observe with better perspective the flora and the different species of birds that nest here. This itinerary is very easy to carry out and very interesting that will allow us to observe a landscape with lots of water and leafy vegetation.
