Itinerary description
starting from el Pilar , the first hour is a long ascent to the spine . From there you walk along the spine of the island passing the volcanoes. Can be very windy in parts but spectacular views. There's two marked routes that separate in parts. The GR131 starts further north , while the "route" starts from el pilar. Ends at Los Canarios, nice town . If you want to make it harder , go south to North. Transport is then an issue for getting back.
