CAVE MEDIA BARBA

The legend of the "Bandolero Roche" tells that this was not a vulgar thief who was assigned to assault poor walkers. Roche, a distinguished man who, forced by his principles, did not decide to accept surrender with the new reign of Alfonso XII. Roche was a bandit man, a man with education and principles, and as such was feared by the powerful inhabitants of the area and remembered with affection by the people of the place. At this point we can observe the place where Roche was hiding. In addition to its magnificent views that were already enjoyed by its first settlers of the iron age.

PICASSO INSPIRATION The statuary of Cerro de los Santos is another of Picasso's sources of inspiration, especially as regards portrait heads. In his pictorial work this influence is clear in such important paintings as Las Señoritas de Avignon.
