Itinerary description

A realy beautiful walk (this version is the short one).
Short but because of a lot of climbing over rocks and walking through the river it will take some time.
Good to follow in summer because then the water is not too wild and you can cool down during this walk whenever you like :-)
The starting point is exactly at the waypoint indicated in this discripion . Look carefully because it is easy to mis.
Walk down (steep but not too long) and reach the beautiful river. Go to the left to see the first cascade very soon. After that go upstream the river (to the right) until you reach a bigger cascade with a pool where you can swim en even jump in!
If you like you can climb over a small ridge and cross this waterfall, climb further and follow the river until you find an even bigger waterfall. We could not make this part because of the dog so we made the climb (you can use ropes that are hanging there) independent of each other to take a look above the waterfall but didn’t went further (as said because of the dog).
We certainly come back again and finish the track until the big waterfall without the dog.

Also the route to the starting point by car (at least when you come from Saint Auban) is very, very nice! The beautiful gorge with the Chapelle de Notre Dame de la Clue and after that the pass over the Col de Buis are beautiful!

Not too difficult and fun to do also with some younger kids. Be careful because you can slip on the wet rocks!
